YIPEEEE!!!!!

So in case all of you were wondering what that really loud scream was around 10 AM this morning, that was me. Apparently I was a little excited so I figured I would explain. We now have a Decree of Adoption in our house! It’s official, Joy Ellen Millet is our little girl. THANK YOU to EVERYONE that has been a part of this, whether that means legally, physically (A Guardian Angel Adoptions & our wonderful family and friends), and emotionally. You guys are all so wonderful. What a beautiful blessing this is in our lives!!! We are just beyond thrilled at the moment and are so looking forward to Saturday when we will be sealed.

CONGRATS! It must be a huge relief. I wish I could be there saturday for such a wonderful day. I’m sure there will be enough tears of gratitude (I almost said Joy, but didn’t want any confusion) without me. I’m so excite for you guys.

By the way…I didn’t know that her middle name is Ellen. It’s my mom’s middle name and I always thought I’d use it for my kids, but it doesn’t really go with my last name, if you know what I mean.

You’re right, Ellen would be a little funny for a middle name in your house. Yeah, we decided about four weeks ago or so that we would officially give her a middle name. Good thing we didn’t have to decide that at the hospital huh? Considering how long it’s taken us anyway :)
