I survived!!!

Good Grief, I know that it sounds crazy but I sure am amazed at me. Who would have thought 13.1 miles was something I would actually pay to run. I’ll be honest, I didn’t run the whole thing.  Actually more like half, but my biggest goal was to finish and I did! So YIPEE to me.  Thanks to Krista for getting the idea and encouraging all of us. You truly are amazing! The half marathon was up in Leavenworth, which I’ve never been too.  It’s like a little German town, so I took some fun pictures of town as well as the race.

I CANNOT believe you’ve never been to Leavenworth! I love that town. I am so impressed that you finished. So inspiring! Isn’t it cold there yet?

I know, isn’t that crazy that I live this close (if three mountainous hours is close, in the dark and pouring rain). And yes it was pretty chilly, but when you’re running truly it doesn’t feel too bad, actually quite nice. Saturday was 51 degrees during most of the race.

Hey good for you!! The ladies at work have been trying to talk me into a half marathon in November, but I kinda hate running… I much more prefer my eliptical, not so much stress on my knees.
Anyway I think that it’s awesome that you did it and it sounded like the weather was perfect too!
